TIA PORTAL DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS
First, you need to register on Siemens website.
Access the link below, fill out your personal information, and when you finish, your registration will be complete.
To download TIA Portal V16, access the link below:
Scroll down the page until you find the following files:
The files can be downloaded by clicking on the reference in red. Do this for all the files present in the previous image.
Finally, we need to download the PLCSim Advanced. To do so, access the link below:
Scroll down the page until you find the following files:
Once again, to download the files, just click on the reference in red.
TIA Portal installation procedure
The TIA download is split into multiple files. First, download all the parts of the same DVD to the same folder and then execute the file with the extension .exe. Afterwards, the parts are merged and you can execute the setup. For PLCSIM Advanced, just run the .exe file.
Below, you will see how to install the TIA Portal V16. Note that only the DVD 1 installation is shown, because the installation of the other DVDs and PLCSIM is similar.
